Benin is a country located in West Africa. It is a small country, with a coastline of short overlooking the Gulf of Benin, (part of the Gulf of Guinea and the Atlantic Ocean. To the east is Nigeria, to the north of Niger and Burkina Faso, and Ghana in the west. The capital is Porto-Novo, but the seat of government is Cotonou.
